Tried a lot of subs in the last few years, some cheap, some not so cheap, so far this is the best. I have a medium listening area, and listen to a lot of music, and this sub fills the room with clean, tight bass at low volumes, and will shake the walls at higher volumes when you need it (it freaked the kids out during Jurassic Park III)! While not quite an audiophile, I have a good ear for good audio, and for the money, you will not be disappointed. Products Used: Energy S8.3 (expensive, kind of sucked) Infinity ps12 (Great sub, way to big for room) Athena As-4000 (10 inch, suprisingly horrible) Velodyne vrp-1000 (just ok) Yamaha sw215 (nice for the money) Kenwood psw10 (not sure if i was using it right, died early)

Picked this up last week and can't get over the full, rich bass. It's a perfect compliment for my 7.1 system. As a favor for the rest of my building I usually power it down and save it for movies.
